Jaipur, May 30, 2023 – The Transport and Road Safety Department in Rajasthan has announced that motor vehicles belonging to recognized motor driving training centers, institutes, and schools will be exempt from motor vehicle tax. The decision was taken by department in an aims to support and encourage the development towards safety while training candidates and enhance the quality of driver training programs to bring responsible drivers on roads.
Motor vehicles used exclusively for training candidates to teach driving will be eligible for the tax exemption. However, this exemption given is only applicable only if the motor vehicle is registered in the state of Rajasthan.

They contend that by assisting accredited driving schools, the government can guarantee that drivers obtain suitable instruction and training, reducing the number of accidents caused by insufficient driving abilities.
Motor driving schools must satisfy the requirements for departmental recognition in order to qualify for the exemption. They must follow the rules and keep their attention on teaching their students the fundamentals of driving.
