A concerning incident occurred on Tuesday evening when around 80 passengers on the Bharat Gaurav Special train from Chennai complained of severe stomach upset and other symptoms consistent with food poisoning. The train was nearing Pune railway station when the passengers began experiencing discomfort.

Upon receiving reports of the incident at 10.45 pm, rail officials at Pune station swiftly sprang into action. Initial reports suggest that the passengers may have consumed contaminated food served on the train. Due to the severity of their condition, several passengers required hospitalisation. Medical teams carefully coordinated with hospital authorities to ensure their seamless transfer for further treatment and observation.The remaining passengers have been advised to rest and monitor their condition
